This project originally started in our first trimester of 2023 where I created the original sword and cave scene, rendering the final scene for it through Unreal. I then expanded on the sword and casing in our second trimester in 2023 to see a few different variations that I could do with almost the exact same model.
The reason behind using the same model is because they will sometimes use the same model for different purposes in industry by just changing the texture or adding minor adjustments.
I also created an additional 4 small scenes which I rendered out in Maya as I was not happy with the rendering quality of Unreal and did not have the time at that moment to fix that challenge.
My original Sword and Casing are still my favourite of the 5.
The history I created for my original sword was that a Norse Magician created this magical sword for his Elvish daughter to protect her long after he is gone.
