My name is Alicia from South Africa. I am currently living here in Australia and am actively seeking a full-time or part-time role in a dynamic industry to contribute my creative talents and further professional growth. Open to in-person or hybrid positions in Melbourne/Geelong and also eager for any remote opportunities.
I graduated top of my class for my Higher Certificate in Animation & VFX at SAE Institute in South Africa and then came down under to completed my Bachelors Degree in Animation at SAE Creative Media Institute here in Melbourne, Australia.
3D animation is my greatest love and passion. I am confident in my capabilities in various fields of 3d animation of which I enjoy specializing in 3D modeling and texturing the most. But I also love the challenge of building awesome environments and experimenting with VFX. I am extremely excited to finally be able to dive into the industry that is my ultimate dream and passion.
I have a knack for picking up new skills and methods relatively quickly, problem solving on the go wherever possible and am always hungry for new challenges to improve my skill set. I am driven, kind, compassionate and understanding. I work well individually and collaboratively in a team. I also have quite a few years experience in diverse fields including hospitality and corporate but have always had a love for animation from a young age.
